True IPTV And JIA Launch “JIA On Demand” To Prepare High School Students In Mathematics For University Entrance Exams

Bangkok (March 27, 2007)- TrueIPTV has joined with JIA (Junior Intelligent Academic), to launch “JIA on Demand” which has been designed to increase more channels for tutoring services for high school students. Students can now learn mathematics at home by just connecting to True hi-speed Internet.

The latest cooperation with JIA, the leading Mathematics Tutor Service in Thailand, is the launch of “JIA on Demand” which is an intensive mathematics tutoring course to prepare M.4-M.6 students for university entrance exams. Moreover, the program is convenient because students do not need to waste time in traffic traveling to classes. They can simply learn anytime they want in the comfort of their own homes. JIA on Demand features TrueIPTV (Internet Protocol Television), the personal television that satisfies hi-speed lifestyles with entertainment, education and variety through broadband technology. JIA on Demand is the latest and exclusive program on TrueIPTV and emphasizes the uniqueness of TrueIPTV with the cooperation of the JIA, the leading mathematics tutoring establishment.

Mr. Chairat Chetsadarattikorn, Tutor from JIA (Junior Intelligent Academic) has revealed that demand for tutoring services, especially in mathematics, has increased since the university entrance system has been changed to require mathematics as a pre-requisite in all programs. With 200 per cent growth last year, JIA now operates 18 branches countrywide. This year, JIA has cooperated with TrueIPTV to launch “JIA on Demand”, to serve the increasing needs for mathematics tutoring service for students in high school (M.4-M.6).

In addition, JIA is now developing a new curriculum for students in P.5-P.6 and Junior high school (M.1-M.3) to build an understanding and liking for mathematics from a young age. Preparation is now in progress for the curriculum, books and tutoring. The new course for students in P.5-P.6 and junior high school will be available in May 2007.
